THE NETHERLANDS – A 31-year-old Olympic gold medalist was hospitalized shortly after receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Kjeld Nuis, a professional ice skater, experienced severe flu-like symptoms and chest pain a week after the injection. He alone expressed concern to his doctor and cardiologist. Subsequent research in the hospital showed that Nuis had suffered from pericarditis (heart inflammation) as a result of the inoculation.
Nuis shared a post on Instagram of him being hospitalized after the vaccine:
Nuis seems to have recovered well for now. We will continue to monitor this case.
